TROUBLESHOOTING + ENGINE DIAGNOSTICS

Marine Engine Diagnostics is the analysis of the engine’s built in computer system. This is done by connecting to the engine’s Electronic Control Module (ECM). The computers and software we use has an adapter unique to the engine manufacturer to provide valuable information regarding the engines’ history.

By connecting into the ECM we can learn valuable information regarding your potential purchase. By doing engine diagnostic scans this enables the surveyor to verify valuable information such as the actual engine hours, the RPM run history so we know how the engines have been operated during their life, current engine fault codes as well as historic fault codes.

SHIPYARD SERVICES

Our shipyard services encompass everything from simple repairs to extensive refits on vessels of all types. A combination of our experience, project management, and attention to detail has created a reputation for unrivaled results and customer benefits.

ONSITE + REMOTE SERVICES

We started our business in 2015 solely providing mobile, onsite marine mechanical services to the commercial industry. This brought us to every corner of Vancouver Island and the surrounding area, many of these areas are only accessible by boat or floatplane. Over the years we have honed those skills and are well known for providing high-quality mechanical and customer services to the most remote areas of the Island.

We have mobile units equipped to service all aspects of the vessel and worksite; from engines, generators, electrical, hydraulic, welding, fluid end rebuilds and high-pressure systems.

SEASONAL SERVICE + WINTERIZATION

Scheduling means you don’t have to think about when your equipment needs servicing. Save money in long-term repair costs, spot problems before they become a major headache and adhere to government safety standards. Marine applications are one of the most severe environments possible for engines and equipment. Heavy load, high RPM operation, saltwater, extreme temperatures, high moisture and periods of non-use all take a toll on your equipment.

Retain the value of your equipment investment with comprehensive, scheduled maintenance programs.

FLEET MAINTENACE

As prime contractors, we have a high degree of responsibility to maintain a safe environment on every worksite. We coordinate the occupational health and safety activities of all employers, workers, and anyone else at the workplace. Establish and maintain procedures to ensure occupational health and safety requirements at the workplace are followed by all parties. We know how crucial timely decision-making and communication are for marine projects.

Monitor Engine Parameters

Critical parameters such as engine temperature, oil pressure, fuel pressure are monitored and recorded during the testing.

Thermal Image Survey

With the generator set operating at full load, we also conduct a thermal image survey of all electrical connections to identify any high-resistance connections.

Upgrades

Adequate upgrade of your existing generator can significantly enhance your power systems overall reliability and help you achieve business-critical continuity.

Load Testing

Testing the performance of your entire system at design load is recommended to not only extend the life of your generator but also ensure that it maintains efficient and reliable operations when you need it most.
